Doctor's appointment went well!

On the baby front...
We had our latest dr's appointment on Thursday, and everything went well. Since I was measuring big at my last appointment, the dr wanted an ultrasound to check for fibroids. Luckily there were no fibroids (YEA!) and everything was great. The baby was looking good, weighing in at about 2 lbs 5 oz. The doctor said that I am still measuring about 1 week 5 days ahead, so he thinks I might deliver the first week of March! I have a glucose test in a couple weeks to check for gestational diabetes. I've been feeling pretty good, other than the horrific heartburn and the occational seeing of spots. My blood pressure checked out fine and I have gained a total of 14 pounds so far which I guess isn't bad, but still - ugh!

On the work front...
NO STRIKE!! yea! The teacher's union and the school board finally came to an agreement! YES! The school board just approved the agreement yesterday, so I am guessing sometime this week we should be getting a contract to sign (in December no less!). It wasn't exactly what the teacher's union was hoping for, but both sides ended up compromising, so we are pretty happy. Only one more week before Christmas break! YEA for that. Hopefully this week will go by fast. I am in great need of a couple weeks of relaxation.
