17 weeks and getting bigger!
I can actually say that I think I am actually starting to show a little. It depends on what I wear, but most days you can see the start of a little bump! I have felt the baby move (at least I think I have). It still has lots of room in there, but I think I have felt a little flutter at least once a day or maybe about every other day. I'm starting to feel much better; not much morning sickness at all!! YEA!!! What I am really excited for is October 10th! That is our next ultrasound, and we should be able to find out the sex!! YEA again! Ben thinks it is a boy and I think it is a girl. I've asked our Magic 8 Ball, but it said to ask again later! Of course, I know those are totally scientific! ;-) Maybe we should get out a Ouiji board! hehehe I finally told my students about the baby. I made a multiplication worksheet with a secret message and the message said "Mrs. Reed is going to have a baby!!!". The kids were so excited when they started to figure out the message. I did get one funny comment from one of the kids. She said, "Mrs. Reed, are you really pregnant?" and after I said yes she said, "Ewwwww!". Got to love those kids! hehehe I didn't realize that me being pregnant would gross out my students! I also had one of the kids ask if I wanted this baby! I guess in so many families babies aren't a good thing that it comes as a surprise when someone actually wants a child! I did spare her the juicy details of the IVF though! I'm glad the kids know, because now I can start wearing my maternity clothes which I need to start wearing now. My last pair of regular jeans no longer fits, so I am in maternity clothes pretty much full time now, with the exception of some regular shirts I can fit in even though my tummy shows through a bit. Maybe soon I will get enough courage and post a belly picture. Only one more week until we know if it is a boy or girl!! I really don't care, but I am really excited to find out. I just hope the baby cooperates!!
