ONE healthy baby in my belly!!!

Well, today was our first ultrasound, and we saw ONE healthy baby. We even saw the heartbeat. Unfortunately, today was my last visit with my Fertility Doctor. My insurance will not pay for another visit. I was kinda sad, but looking forward to finally having my dr's office in my own town and not having to drive 2 hours per appointment. Dr. Silverstein did say because of my beta levels and how big my uterus was that he suspected twins, but still only found one. He did mention that another might be hiding and he had been fooled before. I'm kinda glad there is only one though. It makes life a little easier.

This ultrasound is hard to see. It is so early that the baby just looks like a blob. It you look carefully, you will see a little line. That is where the doctor was measuring the baby. I think our next one (which I have no clue when it will be) will be easier to see a baby.

One a bad note, morning sickness(m/s) hit with a vengeance today, and I have been completely miserable. I actually got sick today, and I'm not a person that gets sick easily. I think I may have gotten sick only 3 times in the last 15 years!! The only thing I've eaten today was oatmeal for breakfast and crackers! I'm so happy about this pg, but I am so miserable. This m/s kinda put a crimp in the ultrasound today. Ugh!
