7 Weeks and all is well, (sort of)
Hi everyone! Here we are at 7 weeks and things are moving along. Unfortunately, morning sickness has really kicked my butt!! Thank goodness I have 2 more weeks off before school starts. I plan on taking it easy as long as I can. Ben has gone to the store to get me crackers, pretzels, and anything else that can help settle a queasy stomach. I should be counting my lucky stars I just am having nausea, but it is still miserable. I have read that morning sickness starts to subside in the second trimester, so I am counting the days! hehehe I also have been napping almost every day. Too bad I don't teach kindergarten cuz my little naps will be ending as soon as school starts. My next Dr's appointment will be August 17th. I am seeing Dr. Rouckema (I don't think I spelled that right.) Dr. Silverstein has recommended him, and he's the head of the high risk unit at St. Mary Corwin. ~Not that I am high risk, but since we have been through so much to get here, it will be nice to have someone who looks out for us.
On another side note, Ben's parents have also graciously helped us out paying for our IVF!!! How in the world did we get so lucky to have parent's that support us? With the help of our parents, my summer school working, Ben's overtime and selling his Mustang, our IVF bill should be completely paid off by next November! THANKS MOM AND DAD!!!
